  14. Please note FRUIT SALAD is Shareware.  This means that if you
  15. like the game and decide to keep it, then you should send a
  16. registration fee of 5 pounds to the author for his time and
  17. effort in making this fine game.  It takes a lot of time to
  18. program the game and draw the graphics, about five months for
  19. FRUIT SALAD, and it is appreciated more if someone takes
  20. the time to send their registration fee and their comments,
  21. this means that the author will keep producing high quaility
  22. games for the Amiga.  In return for your registration fee, you
  23. will recive an enhanced version of FRUIT SALAD, which will have
  24. over 60 levels, fully animated backgrounds, better graphics, 
  25. better sound, fully animated end sequence, secret rooms and 
  26. basically a big improvement on FRUIT SALAD, even though it is 
  27. excellent already! Please send your registration fee and

  50. About The Game.

  53. Welcome to the world of FRUIT SALAD, a new platform game from
  54. Grand Master Design (GMD).  The idea of the game is to collect
  55. all of the Gems from each level and get to the exit. BUT the evil
  56. Triax has turned all of your friends into Mutant Fruit and Veg.
  57. The game has 20 levels, but the enhanced version has over 60.
  58. Every five levels you will be given a Level Code, you can use these
  59. at the main menu screen, and this will start you at the the last 
  60. level code recieved.  If you collect the letters, `GAME UP`, then 
  61. you will be able to play the Surf Game!  This will enable you to 
  62. collect extra lives. You can also collect bonuses on screen. They
  63. are `F`reeze, `B`onus, `T`urbo and `S`hield.
